The Analyzer is a combination of a sound pressure level (SPL) meter and a full range multiple bands frequency analyzer. It is mainly designed for audio professionals who need to evaluate different working environments (e.g. studios, live stages)... that’s why it’s perfect for anyone who’s in need of acoustical analysis!! It is easy to use and comes with amazing features only known from professional acoustic tools.

Use the Analyzer for measuring stages, testing speakers, setting up your hi-fi system, evaluating sound mixing environments, analyzing your instrument... or for measuring the noise your neighbor makes with his new stereo!

The Analyzer is pre-calibrated for all iDevices, but it includes a calibration function as well. It comes with a highly intuitive user interface with zoom gesture control, individual color settings, reticle zoom and many more exciting features. The Analyzer can store, load and export measurement data and supports iCloud storage.

Combine the Analyzer with external microphones such as the MicW i436 or Microtech M372 for better measurement performance! Or use it with external USB audio hardware like the RME Fireface UCX or the Alesis IO dock, change the measurement scale to dB (FS) and use it as a studio Realtime Analyzer!

Pros and cons of Analyzer app for iPhone and iPad

Analyzer app good for

Really excellent tool, for professionnal use. Moreover compatible with RME fireface ucx. Very well done.
Ive been using the pc version for quite a while......enjoy having the portability on the ipad now.
マイク補正が有るので選びました。複数波形を表示出来るので、比較がし易い。 周波数が二倍で表示されるバグあり。ex.)1KHz wave ->displayed at 2KHz It may Bug. Please fix it! I use iPhone5 iOS6.0
Is it possible to make shortly some delay between the receipt of the signal and its representation on display?

Some bad moments

I think That the A B C weighting is not corect ! Warning : it is not possible to hâve a good mesurement like with a professionnal réal Time Analyzer.
Since some weeks it doesnt work anymore. Therefore it was too expencive. Please fix it asap!
İ dont like this 2.0 update because İ cant see frequency peak numbers after than 2.0 update. Old version is better than new one. Help me.
Im pretty disappointed that after purchasing the app at $15, I had to put $10 more in just to get the calibration file for Mic W I-436. Really, for $15, they should include it. Especially considering this app is only a basic RTA (no other analysis tools). And Im really not sure this app is any more accurate then a free one. Feeling a bit taken advantage of.
Up until the last update I had the graphics Analyzer now it wont come up when I turn my iPhone sideways. Whats up? Same here; plus when it comes up the db accuracy is way off. Fix it please!!!!
This works, when its not crashing! If you play around with too many settings, it will just stop and go back to the home screen on my iPad and or iPhone. But, it does analyze ok for what it is. Im using it in a home studio just as a reference.
